First off I have to say that I went to Lillettes in Baldwin and worked with a woman named Pat.. She was WONDERFUL.. I showed her pictures of what I was envisioning and she brought me dress in that style.. which was Sheath/Trumpet style dresses.. After I tried on about 2.. I realized that I hated that style and started trying on fuller dresses.. For me, I never envisioned myself in a pick up style dress.. I was floored..
The first dress for me is the top runner.. now the bottom is a pick up with little rhinestones sporatically placed throughout it.. I would add a champagne sash and possibly some diamonds sporatiically throughout the lace on top.. it's a Paloma Blanca
The second dress, needs nothing.. it's a Demetrios and looks NOTHING like what it does on the model.. I think it looks better on me, but of course I will say that!!![]()

So now I am making at appointment with the Demetrios salon in Manhasset to check out what they have.. but I am in love with the 2..

I'm sure you look awsome in both dresses, but I totally see you in the first one with the sash!! Soooo you, it's not even funny. But see what happens at Demetrios in Manhasset. You may fall inlovewith something there. Whatever the case, you are going to look GORGEOUS!!![]()

I like both of them , #1 is pretty & so is #2 , but 2 seems to be more 'funkier' ive seen in in person & your right . its prettier in person, no doubt on you as well,,

It's tough for me.. The Demetrios is a little heavier and I am a girl for bling on a dress!!
but I loooooooved the Paloma Blanca and with the sash just gave it that extra umpfh!!

I like 1 better than 2 --- Although I did not purchase my dress at Lillettes, I did go there to dress shopping and had a wonderful time with Pat helping me. I second service at Lilllettes !!

I tried on that demetrios dress at lillette's last weekend, I was in love with it, until I tried on a similar style Maggie - a little fuller in a 2 piece.

Dayna, we seem to have similar taste , rhinestone & bling stuff, LOL anyways, I have all my bride gown pics @ home & they are all demetris, & mon cheri,,
You shoudl look into mon cheri as well its got the bling goin on like demetris , but 1/2 price,, & Just a beautifull,,

Both are beautiful Dayna. I like #1 better though. It's a bit 'softer' looking and I like that. JMO.

im a big fan of the pick ups myself!!!! i tried on the mermaid/trumpet style dresses as well but love the pick ups...i love both of them especially the first one (paloma) because it has the lace in which i am also a big fan of..but either way you cant go wrong with both of them
