First off I have to say that I went to Lillettes in Baldwin and worked with a woman named Pat.. She was WONDERFUL.. I showed her pictures of what I was envisioning and she brought me dress in that style.. which was Sheath/Trumpet style dresses.. After I tried on about 2.. I realized that I hated that style and started trying on fuller dresses.. For me, I never envisioned myself in a pick up style dress.. I was floored..
The first dress for me is the top runner.. now the bottom is a pick up with little rhinestones sporatically placed throughout it.. I would add a champagne sash and possibly some diamonds sporatiically throughout the lace on top.. it's a Paloma Blanca
The second dress, needs nothing.. it's a Demetrios and looks NOTHING like what it does on the model.. I think it looks better on me, but of course I will say that!!
So now I am making at appointment with the Demetrios salon in Manhasset to check out what they have.. but I am in love with the 2..
what do you girls think???

I went in there thinking I was going to get a sheath/trumpet style dress and after I tried on 2 of them, I realized that it so wasn't what I wanted.. and I was so not a fan of a pickup style dress either until I put it on and what a WHOLE other story!!! I have my heart set on the Paloma but I am going to the Demetrios Salon next week, so I will let you know how that goes!!!!

Dayna i love the 1st one. it is beautiful and very elegant. I like the second one too but the 1st one seems more flowy(if thats a word)

I bought a Paloma Blanca at Lillete's... it's my profile pic!
I am a big Paloma Blanca fan and altohugh both are nice, I love the first one... I like dresses simple, so the beading wouldn't be for me... I love the simplicity of the Paloma Blanca. GOOD LUCK choosing! they're both pretty!
