I've lost about 15 lbs since they measured me when I ordered my dress. Do you think this will be a problem?? I'm worried my dress might be too big - I know they alter but is this something I shoud be concerned about??
TIA!

Re: Wedding Dress Size?
Congrats on losing weight!!! 15 pounds won't be too much for them to alter. That's prob only about 1 dress size, which is doable. Anything more than 2 dress sizes would be more of a concern.

Re: Wedding Dress Size?
That's wonderful about your weight loss! Anything to make a person healthier is great in my book.
It shouldn't be difficult to alter your dress for 15 lbs. Especially since you don't usually lose weight all in one area of your body, and it should be a more even sort of loss. It's always easier to take in the dress than take it out...
Thank you everyone - I did it by joining weight watchers online and I joined a gym have been working out - I'd like to try to loose some more but now thinking I should just maintain it until my wedding which is 9 months away....

Oooohhhh.....congrats! Your dress alterations shouldn't be a problem unless you keep losing.

Re: Wedding Dress Size?
Congrats!
I know you ordered- but was the dress cut yet?? As your bridal salon to call the manufacturer and ask if it was cut. I lost weight before my wedding and re-measured myself over the phone to the consultant at the salon and since my dress hadn't been cut yet I was able to order it in a size smaller--this was just weeks before it shipped!!
if not they can definately later it-- but if you can change the size you dont have to worry about a fortune in alterations and also don't have to depend on the seamstress to reconstruct your dress!
