I ordered my dress yesterday, it's Eve of Milady (& the new love of my life!). They ordered it in a size 14 (I know, that's really a size 10) but I still think thats too big- I'm 5'2 1/2, 136 lbs (have lost 5 already and guarantee to go to 120), so I'm afraid they'll have to do a lot of alteration and the dress won't be the same. Should I call them back adn tell them to order it in a size 12? Please help!
To be honest - I'm not sure - my friend had an Eve of Milady and they ordered her exact size and it was too small - they had to rush order her the same dress THREE WEEKS before her wedding because they told her that Eve of Milady dresses did not really have the room to take out! You are better off letting them take in then getting stuck in a situation like she did because it was really a nightmare for her!!
If your really second guessing their measurments then I would go back to them and have them remeasure you just incase. I had lost a nice amount of weight due to stress before the wedding and she had to bring my gown in alot.
THanks for your advice (I still welcome more!). Once they took in your dress, did it look the same?
