Wedding Dress Under $500

Hi, I'm on a budget here. I'm determined to stay under 25k for my wedding. FH and I decided that anything over 25k is too much for a one day affair. We wanna save up for our early retirement! :D

I am looking for a wedding dress or just a white dress (not fancy dancy sequins or lace, etc.) that's under 500 (with alterations).

Is this realistic? Does anyone know of a place that sells cheap wedding dresses/white dresses for a good price?

I've seen houseofbrides.com but am skeptical about getting it online w/o seeing the dress first.

look at davids bridals they have some that are nice for under $500

I don't know if this will really help you, but I went to Miss Sara's bridal in Rocky Point and she had some gowns that I'm pretty sure were under $500. You can call places first and ask though. Good Luck!

Depends what you're looking for, but J Crew has really nice, simple dresses in the $300 and less range. Also you could look into ordering a bridesmaid dress in white or ivory, sometimes they look just like wedding dresses, but for much less money.

fm we have a wedding dress we were going to sell on ebay after 2/14/06

a freind of ours was going to get married but they brok up and he wants to sell the dress

I would look at designs by Mori Lee, Jessica McClintock and also Alfred Angelo. They have many dresses under $500.

My dress was way less than $500. It's by Mary's... I can't post it, I'm computer illiterate but here's the website, there are a lot more that are inexpensive.

Look for ivory bridesmaids gowns. You should be able to find something lovely for $500.

Definitely David's, Jessica McClintock. and I'm not sure, but maybe Maggie Sottero has gowns close to that range? I know my friend's is $800

you can have a dress custom made in hong kong for less than that...there's this one company that i know of that you can definitely do that for less than $400 including shipping. then you can alter it if you need, but they take have you send in all your measurements so the alterations usually are not that expensive. i've heard good things about them but didn't use them...almost did.
