Wedding Dresses - Bridal Reflections

I am using Bridal Reflections for my gown and my maids. Everything has been great. I found my bridal consultant, RoseAnn very knowledgable. As a matter of fact I would probably not have tried on the gown I purchased if it were not for her gentle coaxing. I went for my final try on last night and I love my gown. The seamstress did a wonderful job with the bustle and minor alterations. Dont let their phone mannor scare you off they really are much much better in person.

I have not been to either of these, but two stores in Brooklyn are Kleinfeld and Lestan. Maybe someone who has been to either can offer some more info.

Stay away from Lestan's - I know of two brides and about 4 bridesmaids that left there in tears! They are extremely rude and obnoxious. I used Bridal Reflections in Massapequa for my gown and my bridesmaids gowns. CaroleAnne was my consultant and she was great. My dress and the bridesmaids dresses all came out beautiful and we were very happy with the seamstresses. HOWEVER, the owner and the other girls that work there were EXTREMELY rude and caused a screaming argument with myself and my bridesmaids 2 weeks before my wedding all because of adjustments WE wanted made to my pregnant bridesmaids dress. I have never been treated so rudely in my life and the inconsiderate comments and attitude given to a bride and her bridal party -- all of whom spent tons of money (including a MOB dress) in that store, two weeks before the wedding was disgusting. I get so mad just thinking about it now I cannot even tell you. Even though we all looked beautiful and everything turned out fine, I can't based on my experience recommend anyone to them - these nasty and completely inconsiderate people don't deserve your hard earned money, and quite frankly if it hadn't been 2 weeks before my wedding I would have walked out of there...

Kleinfelds

This has been the only shop I've visited so far. I found a beautiful dress there and was happy with the experience. But be warned, prices are very steep! If you dont have $2k (absolute min) to spend on a dress you won't find anything here. I fell in love with a 3K dress there. Hoping to find something similiar for less elsewhere.

Wedding Dresses

I ordered my dress at Kleinfelds and I must say that I have had a great experience there so far. Although the prices do start at $2,000, they did have a large selection under $3000 and the sales people were ver helpful and I found the prices to be very comparable (even lower in some cases) than other shops. Alterations ae exensive($395) but I hear they are great. I will keep you posted. I go for my first fitting around January/February. Good luck!
