Wedding Dresses and Limos?

Im probably one of only brides who did not look at dresses yet lol. I was pregnant so I didn't want to try dresses on until some time had passed. Getting married in Nov so I have some time I guess. Any suggestions on the best places to look?

Also, I got two quotes for around $850ish for one limo. Is that a good quote or is there anything better?

I had really good luck at RK Bridal in NYC - 39th St. between 8th and 9th aves. A lot of good dresses and there are bargains to be found. IF you go, go on an off day during the week. They do not take appointments.

$850 is pretty standard I think for 2 limos. You can also check out Camelot Limo - they had good prices.

I also had good luck at RK bridal! I think $850 is a good price for a limo if you're talking about a 18-20 passenger escalade or infiniti. If you were quoted that for an 8 passenger limo.. it sounds high.

Thanks girls...i'll def check out RK Bridal. I had seen it mentioned somewhere else too. I'm so indecisive. I'm scared I'll like something but won't get it because it's the first place I go to type thing...but I don't want to go to 100 places either.

I got my dress close to my home because the last 6-8 weeks I didn't want to spend time traveling to an appointment. My sister got her dress about 45 minutes from her home, and she regretted the extra travel she had to do 3-4 times before her wedding. Just another thing to take into consideration.

You can also always get your dress altered elsewhere. I live in Rochester, bought my dress at RK bridal, and found a private seamstress up here to do my alterations.

I would suggest not going to RK Bridal for your first dress experience. I was really overwhelmed when I went because I didn't get any help in picking dresses.

I would say go to a small boutique first and figure out the styles you may like. Then go to RK Bridal..

i got mine at paradise- but only bc it was close to home and they had a great deal, dont go if you dont have to!
