Wedding Dresses.... Holes in the wall in NYC
I just wanted to share with everyone a discovery that my Mom and I just made last weekend.... I traveled into NYC and found a bunch of wedding dress and other wedding related places in Manhattan that are not really advertised. THe first one we went to is 1385 Broadway.. near 38th street. The phone number is It's called the Bridal Building but it does not have the name on the outside of the building... It's 25 floors of wedding gowns and other related info for weddings.. it's a wholesale place... HOWEVER it it opens it's doors to the public on Saturdays from 9-3 ( only the 11th and 12th floors are opened)... There were a bunch of stores in there that had all name brand gowns and popular designers as well as a few that make custom gowns... Everyone was really nice and helpful and not one place was pushy... There are also a few places that only carry samples of dresses,..... so you can buy your wedding gown for about 200 dollars and get brides maid dresses if you are having a small Bridal party... Another place we went to was Ambiance for the bride.. which is right down the block .. 1375 broadway 4th floor.. This was a smaller place.. but still a lot to offer.
