FH and I were going to coordinate a different song for each BP couple, but now that we've thought about it some more, it would be a struggle with timing and sound very jumbled. However, we are still giving MOH and BM their own song as well as the parents.
FH wants to play one of the Weird Al 'polkas' where he sings pieces of popular songs; he wants to do one of the latest ones whe he sings Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber...etc 'to keep people laughing,' I don't want people laughing during the entrance, and I gave him my song suggestions, which of course he shot down He's already getting the first dance pick and I have our entrance song, so we should at least compromise on this, right?

Re: Wedding entrance song debate with FH
my FBIL had each couple come in to a different song. it did not sound jumpy at all if you want to go that way. As for keeping people laughing, i think most of the time entranceS (at least those i have been in and seen) are funny, but its what the people do, not the music that is funny...i don't know about Weird Al at a wedding

I agree this needs to be a compromise. We are doing a different song for each set of parents, one song for the entire BP and then our entrance song.

I think it should be compromised just like everything else. I don't know about Weird Al though... Seems like a bit much for a wedding.
