This is where we want to save $$ - thinking of just some Kisses wrapped in tulle. Someone will eat them!! I figure you can't go wrong with chocolate.

those are beatiful may...ya, favors can be prices...my mother brought u pa good point though most people put that stuff in a cabinet or throw them away at least candy they'll eat!!!

if you are gonna do favors, do something people will eat, or something they will actually use. I have more than enough wedding bell favors and silver swan-shaped ring holders or mini wine bottles with peoples names on them...i dont really do much more than chuck them in a box in my closet. Sorry if anyone is doing this, I don't mean to offend. But if money is an object, then I think do something like the kisses in the tulle....and maybe do something like, whoever has the gold kiss in the little tulle bag wins the centerpiece....i don't know! lolol

I agree with Denise on this too...something people can either eat or drink is the best choice I think...
that's why we are doing full size wine bottles-without names on it...cause who really wants something with your name on it anyway...IMO

We are doing chocolates. The hershey nuggets...and I bought some cute wrappers off ebay that are printed with our names and date on them. I am putting about 6 chocolates in a pretty little box and tie it up with some ribbon(also printed with our names and date on them). I got the boxes and ribbon at Patchogue Floral Fantasy. I figured with all the peices it will come to about $1pp...which isn't too bad.
PS. Besides...who doesn't like chocolate????

IF WE HAVE TO CUT COSTS, THE FAVORS WILL BE THE FIRST THING ELIMINATED. HONESTLY I'VE GOT A TON OF PICTURE FRAMES, CANDLES, ETC. I MAY JUST DO AWAY WITH THEM ALTOGETHER. DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL THE SAME WAY? I KNOW A LOT OF TIMES FAVORS ARE STUFFED IN A DRAWER OR GET THROWN OUT.

Molly - I DO agree with you.....that's why we are possibly going to local wine as favors. I was thinking of having it on a table so when folks are on the way out they can just grab a bottle if not then more for me

I agree with getting something useful. I think I have narrowed my favor chooses down to three. Which one do you prefer?
The picture frame, the coasters, or the pairs (they are salt and pepper shakers).
