Wedding Favors

Favors will be expected by most people at a wedding. I'm not a big fan of most of the things out there. But it is possible to do something small, and something inexpensive. I went to a friends that gave away personalized seed packets that were very unique and very inexpensive. There is also the option of giving a charitable donation in your guests name to a favorite organization and provide guests with a card explaining that.
If your FH is adamant about not doing it, then you can always sneak a favor in in the form of a take home frame or holder for the placecards!

lol

That's it. EVERY event I have gone to you always expect a favor. He says that all the weddings hes gone to he has never gotten anything. I just think that he is a boy and doesnt realize it. Also his thing is we are paying for this on our own and is trying to keep the budget down and save for a house. So I feel like I am stuck between and rock and a hard place.

Wedding Favors

We are having a photobooth and the photostrips that come out of the booth will be the favors for everyone- We are going to buy 2x6 acrylic frames and put a piece of paper inside each one encouraging the guests to visit the photobooth and put their strips inside the frame.

Some people do flip flop baskets, and will just make those the favors. Also, many people make a donation and put a note at each place setting saying 'in lieu of a favor, we made a charitable donation to ______'. Most people throw out the favors, so rather than spending 2-3 bucks on a favor, spend that money on donating to a cause that is important to you is a great idea

Re: Wedding Favors

I think a favor is necessary, and food favors are fun.

we want to do our favorite cupcakes (Robicelli's in BK). We mentioned this idea to a few people and some love it bc it's 'so us' and some don't like it AT ALL.

I know my mom will flip when she hears it's not going to be an ice bucket or serving plate. Can't wait for that argument.

i got them on the knot during a sale- they are love birds which goes with our theme.
they are available a lot of places but for some reason there are 3 different packages and each is a different price but they seem like the same thing! lol
