Re: wedding gift....

We didn't exchange gifts but if we did I know hubby would of wanted some electronic so I say get him what he wants the bike. I know my husband would not have wanted cuff links or any more normal wedding gift. If you can't plug it up or put batteries in it he tells me don't waste the money.

Re: wedding gift....

I forgot to post what he gave me. The matching outfits that we wore to JudyB after wedding party was his gift to me. I don't think gifts are necessary but a nice touch.

Re: wedding gift....

I am thinking of either a nice silver pocket watch engraved or possibly cuff links since he doesn't have any. Now my question is....

FH has never been married & I doesn't really knows of the tradition of exchanging gifts so do I just blurt out to him that he is supposed to get me a gift? Not sure what to do!

Re: wedding gift....

Jodi
FH has NO idea i bought him one. I am putting every dime i have into paying wedding stuff & to kill my credit cards. He'd never think I have money to buy him something at this point lol.
He is paying for 90% of the wedding himself (he also makes 3x my salary) so I once told him the wedding is my gift.
I don't think you have to exchange. Gifts should be about giving, not getting

Re: wedding gift....

Jenn,

My FH also makes about 3x the amt that I do. We are paying for the wedding together. I agree that a gift is about giving not receiving and I will be getting him something just because I want to. The best gift he could EVER give me he already has.....his unconditional true love!!!
