I tried it with a couple different scenarios, and it always listed less than what I'd usually give.
Good guidelines, though.

I tried it on one scenario and it was pretty on point. I am assuming its total, not per person if bringing a guest...

i put the same info in for both a new york and michigan wedding and the ny one said give $240 and the michigan one $225.
there is MUCH more of a difference between them.
there's too many other details to consider. lol.
but its interesting?

I think the biggest factors are the annual income and the relation to the person
it was a bit lower, but very close to the point and what ppl gave me more or less, btw

I tried a few different scenarios...and they seemed low. Especially for the sibling one- it came out to be only $300. if my brother/sister were getting married I would give MUCh more than $300!

I have a wedding to go to this saturday in CT. its pretty informal... and it told me to give $220 from the two of us. I actually think thats a fair price.
