So for our Hm we are going on a 7 day cruise and to Orlando for 4 days. FH always wanted to swim with the Dolphins. I was thinking of surprising him in Orlando with the swim with the dolphins at the Discovery Cove for a wedding gift. Or should I do a more practical gift like a watch or something?

I will be getting FH a watch .... BUT ...
I am getting a hand mold of a hand giving the middle finger and putting the watch on it and sending it to the mens suite just before the wedding .. I am going to have george sr. bring it over himself ....

He wants a watch, a Breitling to be exact. So I have to save a ton of money for one. Anyone know where I can get one for less than a small fortune?

I love the swimming with the dolphines idea. We are also going on a cruise and i was thinking of surprising FH with doing to disney for a few days. I have always wanted to swim with the dolphines.

I think that is the best gift...to do something that he would really wants instead of doing the usual gift.

i think the dolphins is a great idea!! i like things that are more personal and that mean something or is something you know fh would like.
I want to get fh a bubble hockey table. hes always talked about getting one, but i know he will never buy it for himself. and he already has like 5 watches.

Thats the thing with me too- I cant swim and am deathly afraid of water so I wouldnt be able to go with him. But I will be able to take pics. Its expensive at discovery cove also and that is why FH never did it because it was so much money.

I think that is a great idea, and something you can both share in doing! You will have forever to buy him material things, you HM only comes around ONCE!
Oops I didn't read all the posts. Well I would try and learn to swim, there are great places you can do it until your HM, There are so many great things to do in FL or island that all obviously include going in the water. I think he would be real impressed and touched if you worked to overcome a fear and did this with him.
If that really isn't an option a lot of places have what they call Dolphin encounters and you stand in the water, its very shallow and they come up to you. You can pet them and play with them a little but it isn't 'swimming' with them. Maybe look into that. I'ts usually cheaper too
