Wedding Gift Qstion? When To Send Thank You Cards?
My wedding is about 4 weeks away and I just wanted to know if I happen to get a wedding gift before the wedding do I wait to send the thank you card? I am getting thank you cards from our photographer once the wedding is over so I was hoping to deal with it then but is that wrong?

id wait....that way they can get a picture and if they go to the wedding you can thank them for coming also

I was having the same problem we decided to wait to send them the picture cards

I had monogram cards made for thank you. If I get any gifts early I'm going to write the thank yous once I get it especially since Im having a large wedding I dont want to spend all summer writting thank you notes. I am also very lazy and the sooner i get the ball rolling the beteer.

if it is someone who is attending the wedding I'd wait. If they're not attending you can go either way.

For gifts received before the wedding, send a thank you note now. Don't let it drag on. It's polite to send sooner rather than later. It's more important they be thanked rather than they received the picture thank you notes.
For gifts received at the wedding, send the thank you notes within three months, pic or not.

Yes I been getting some from those attending and some that aren't- I really want to be able to give them thank you cards with the pictures- FMIL suggested just a short thank you note until I can do all the photo thank you cards... we only sent out 100 invitations (mostly couples) so writing them out wouldn't be a chore for me since that's a small amount to me.
