My daughter got married in Nov. My son-in-laws friend came with his fiance. They gave $300. Now that couple is getting married this month, at a destination wedding in Turks & Caicos. Unfortunately my daughter & son-in-law won't be going to the wedding, but aren't sure what to do about a gift. Would you give them the same as they gave you, if you weren't attending or would you give less because you didn't attend?

I'd say $200 is fine since they aren't attending.

They're not attending so they don't have to send the same as what they received. I think $150-$200 would be fine
