Wedding Gifts

Has anyone thought about wedding gifts to FH or FH to you? Are you doing that?

I am going to say it depends on money. I want a double wedding band, so I wouldn't expect anything else.

Our friends came up with (those who aren't married or just got married in the past three years) that it is now tradition for the Bride to get the Groom an expensive watch.The Groom then gives the Bride some sort of expensive jewelery. Expensive is defined per your budget.

I think mine is getting a Movado or Rado. Time for an upgrade! I dont need or want anything, i pretty much have what i need :) I will not give it to him the day of, i will give it to him a week before so he can get it sized for the big day.

i plan on buying him a new really fancy professional digital camera. with the big lens and everything. his brother has one and he loves it! so i figure its a good investment for the future kids, honeymoon, and other family trips

I'm going to buy FH a big flat screen TV once I get my tax return. But we both benefit from that :)

We're not doing gifts to each other.

I swear FH and me have got to be two of the LAMEST people ever to have a wedding!!!!!

This wedding is our gift to each other....and probably will be for a couple of birthdays and christmas' after!

Our Hawaii honeymoon is super expensive so we are going to each come up with some kind of activity or something that we think the other would want to do on the honeymoon (scuba diving, massage on the beach, golf, beachside dinner etc) and book it and tell each other about it the morning of the wedding via a card. I thought that was a nice way to give us something to look forward to.

I would love to get him Super Bowl Tickets....but since that would be sooo expensive, I'll just ask him what he wants.

Fh loves watches and he loves one of the Tiffany's watches (which is a few thousand) so I have been saving a little from each pay check so by the time we get married I can get it for him.....he will probably kill me for spending that much on it....but he got my ring so I think he deserves it.

As for me... not sure what he will get for me....his gifts are always so thoughtful and he always keeps me guessing so I have no clue.

A professional camara and possibly boudoir pics (If i can get the courage!!)....Photography is his hobby/passion and his camara is broken so i think he'll like it.

Hes giving me the wedding I always dreamed of so Im set!
