I had 2 people come to the wedding and not give a gift-not even a card. How do you handle a situation like that?? Do I still send them a thank you card? any thoughts?

Re: wedding gifts
calll them and tell them that u lost their card and to stop payment on their check.
they will feel like shyt.. or maybe Thank you cuz maybe it was misplaced??

Re: wedding gifts
I would DEF send them a 'thank you for coming and sharing in our day' note. Who knows - maybe they're sending a gift afterwards? I know I do that sometimes...

I would just send a card that says something like: 'thanks for sharing our wedding day with us'
though i wish i had the balls to do what grkbarbie suggests

Re: wedding gifts
I would write a thank you, since they came out, but I wouldn't mention anything about their 'generous' gift or anything.

Re: wedding gifts
one was my dads friend from the kofc which my mom said he may have thought it was an honorable invite but the other was from my college friend-which is soo unlike her to not bring a gift but maybe she forgot it. shes kinda like that.

I agree too - def still send them a card.
They def didn't give you anything though? Like it wasn't lost? I know my best friend got a couple cards with IOUs in them and got gifts later, but that's crazy not to get anything.

Re: wedding gifts
I forgot my cousins card at home for her wedding but I called the next day and told her I would drop it off to her. I explained Im a scatter brain maybe they just forgot and its in the mail (wishful thinking). I would still send a thank you to them for sharing in your day.
