Hello girls,

I have not posted in awhile but I have to say a lot has changed since my last post. The wedding location has changed from the George Washington Manor to the Fox Hollow. Because we changed the venue we were also forced to change the date from 6/6/03 to 7/11/03. We will be in the Winter Garden Terrace.

I have purchased my dress. I was leaning towards a Jim Hjelm dress I tried on at Bridal Reflections at Carle Place but ended up purchasing a Badgley Mischka from Kleinfelds. The max I had planned on spending on a dress was $3,000 but I ended up spending $4,000. I'm still thinking I went overboard but the dress is beautiful. It seems like each desicion is soo difficult. Will the decisions get any easier??

Well, you have to go with your gut on all your decisions. If you love the dress and can afford it, then go for it.

Some of my decisions were very easy and some I lost sleep over. It all goes with planning a wedding. Take the easy with the hard and the good with the bad. I'm sure everything will work out fine in the end and you will have a beautiful day!

I know exactly how you feel about having to change things, especially the date. Even though that is unnerving, things always seem to work out for the best. As for your dress, congratulations!! Don't even have a second thought about it. I'm sure it's perfect. I bought my dress from Kleinfelds, too, about a week ago and I am so excited!! I can't wait until it comes in!

dont fell bad about the dress situation- i planned on spending 5000 for everything but instead im spending 5k just on the dress not including alts-veil-bustle-shoes-tiara! but i thought it over and i love the dress and i plan to only do this once in my life so i went for it! what the sense of working hard or your money if you arent going to spend it the way you want!!! especially on your wedding day!
