Wedding Gown Alterations - LI - Any suggestions?

Hi.

I bought my dress from a bridal shop in CT and looking for an excellent seamstress on LI.

I live in Manhattan with my fiance and I would prefer to keep the dress with my mom since the temptation for him to look at it would definitely be there.

Any help is appreciated.

my suggestion is Blanchee Bridal in East Rockaway.

I dont know if this is too far for you.. its in western nassau. Maybe you'd be better off in queens if you want to stay close to your mom?

actually my mom is in LI, Lynbrook.

did you get your wedding dress done there?

i don't need a lot of alterations on the body - pretty much just the bustle needs to be taken care of (that my eye can see?)
