Well if they put your dress in production already you will owe the full amount of the dress. It should say something in your contract, my contract says that once the dress is put into production you owe the full balance even if you decide to cancel the order

also i used to look at dresses thinking they were ball gown but came to find out when i went dress shopping they were actually A-line, when i told the lady i wanted to look at a ballgown she said uhmmm are you sure? she brought one out and let me tell you that it is HUGE and extremely heavy, just looking at it was like OMG!!! i had no idea...i was like i thought a-line was something else...mine had the crinoline under(the puffy part) so i saw how it was and even the a-line i poofy and you have to get used to moving around in it.

How about going to a store just to try on a true a-line dress with the crinoline under it and then trying on what a true ballgown means

thanks for the advice. the thing is i do love the dress i ordered but it was very big on me so i know thats why it looked not so puffy because it was hanging on my body. i actually did try on true ball gowns but i loved the way this one looked on me the most. i think i need to stop looking at pics of wedding dresses online so i will stop driving myself CRAZY!! i think i just had a mental moment because when i went to look at the pics i took of me in the dress i realized that i dont want a different dress. oh i almost had my first bridal meltdown!! thanks for listening.

i put in an order about a month ago for a dress and changed my mind. i had the salon call the manufacturer to change the style of dress. luckily it was by the same company, paloma blanca. if you think about it, most salons say it takes 6-8 months to order your dress. if so, you should have time to cancel the order if you really wanted to. i don't know if you'll get your money back, but at least you'll get store credit.

afterbtalking w/ my sister and looking at the pics of me in the dress i decided i am going to keep it. i remember how happy i was when i tried it on and i feel that when my size comes in and its altered to fit my body it will be just what i wanted. i just need to stop analyzing everything. i am going to drive myself bonkers!

Yea i think even if you want get a very fill slip if your not happy with the size. Most of the time that is all it takes.
