Is one type of fabric better (less likely to wrinke than other?)

Mine is silk mikado but I'm not sure if it's less likely to wrinkle then other fabrics. It sort of has a little shimmer to it:

Mine is organza.

I think they all can wrinkle, you just have to smooth before you sit

Mine is also organza, don't have a pic yet, still trying to get one from the designer. On of the reaons I liked organza because it's lightweight and comfy

I am getting my dress made and think I am going with crepe (4 ply) but the seamstress also ordered swatches of charmeuse and silk. I love the feel and look of crepe though!

I don't know if one is better than the other - I think it's more of a personal preference. I wanted something that moved with me - was soft to the touch and fitted. My dress is 3 or 4 layers of Japanese crepe with a 2 layer English netting overlay.

I did not get it becuase I was still too fat when I went dress shopping
