Wedding Gown Search

I'm about to begin my quest for a dress, but am nervous bc I have heard so many horror stories about shops. Any recommendations???:

I went to one place, kleinfelds, they were nothing but wonderful and professional. i had a great experience there, so much so that i didnt even shop around for the price of my dress, i knew i wanted to get it there..... now that i have to go into the city for every fitting though, now thats another story

That's where I went. They came through for me when NO ONE else on LI, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan would. My vote is for them.

They're on Main St. in Bayshore. Then...go down to my favorite place...Milk & Sugar Cafe! Good food!

I love my salon - they are so nice. Paula Varsalona. On Madison Ave btwn 65th and 66th street. Prices range from $1500- around $6000.

i got mine and my girls at Centereach Bridal Suite. My girlfriend also got her dress and our bm dresses there as well. Beverly is wonderful!!

I have had all good experiences at Paradise Bridal so far....
Just keep in mind you will hear good and bad things about every place.

keep in mind some wedding stores are VERY pricey--with gowns starting at over $1000

i'm getting mine at lilette's in baldwin for $550 (my chat pic)

how much are you budgeting to spend and where are you located?

I went to Bridal Reflections and David Bridals I ended getting mine at David Bridals but before going there go on to there web site and pick out the dreeses you want to try on because its crazy busy there,there prices are great!!

I think Kleinfelds is very good. I shopped around a lot and their customer service and reputation is excellent.

RK Bridal in Manhattan is amazing. I went on a weekday and spent the day going through many dresses. No one rushed me, and the woman helping me was wonderful. Also, my dress came in 10 days after I ordered it. Of course, I won't be doing my fittings until next summer...

I second RK. I had a great experience with them and saved $$$$ on my dress.
