Are there any places to buy a wedding dress that people actually have a pleasant experience??? All I hear is horror stories from places where the salespeople are rude and pushy or the seamstress *****. I don't want to have a bad experience!!! Please help. Oh, and I am also looking for a place that carries Maggie Sottero gowns, preferably the whole line.

I loved Nawal (pronouned Noelle) at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I highly recommend her!!!!!!
I totally agree. Nawal helped me with my dress also. She is wonderful.

I just ordered my gown from Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills and can I just say that they are AMAZING!! My mom and I went there on a fluke this past weekend and we were there for over 4 hours! We were the last one's to leave and they didn't kick us out! lol The girls that helped us out were awesome. She even tried a gown on for me so I could see how it should really fit! I am plus size so it is hard to get a real idea by holding a dress up to you. They had some plus size gowns which helps and the others i just left the back open. Phyllis is the owner and she does all the alterations. I have 9 bridesmaids and we are getting their dresses there as well. They helped my sister find the perfect dress, and to please both of us is definitely not an easy task since we are complete opposites. I cannot recommend this shop enough!!! They even let me hang out in my gown for over an hour until my dad could come down to take a look! Go there, and you will not be sorry!

I have to second Lillette's in Baldwin- if you do go ask for Gerri- she's a doll to work with and I always have a pleasant experience going there.

I got all of my dresses from Renate's in Lindenhurst. They are very sweet and helpful there. They have tons of Maggie's - I tried on at least 10. They have a whole room of MOB dresses and a nice selection of BMs. I also priced my dress after I left at other stores (am ordering next month) and they had the best price. We were there for like 5 hours and I was sad to leave.
Me Too....They were WONDERFUL. I got my beautiful Maggie there. I ordered it late....so I paid the extra$$ for the rush. It didn't matter. It was still less expensive than another local bridal salon. It was a pleasure to do business there and I highley recommend any future bride to check this place out!!!
