Wedding Gown VENT

I regret so much ordering my dress from a certain store it just makes me want to go insane.

Someone please explain to me why the designers website says dresses are shipped within 12-16 weeks and why the bridal salon is telling me it has a SHIP DATE of 6 weeks prior to my wedding.... WHYYYYYYY

So I will have approx. 5 weeks for fittings?! How nerve racking is that?!

Ugh, vent over.

This is what I fear most. I am starting to tell the stores my wedding is 2 months before my date...lol

ehhh that seems pretty close.

My bridal salon told me mine should be in 3 months prior which people tell me is normal.

I would keep on them about the status of the dress

Yeah I'm the jacka$$ that made a post like 4 months ago on BHB that was pretty much like preaching to give a fake date... I really should have. F m l. lol oh well.

I bet they will and then they won't call me until 5/6 weeks before. UGH UGH UGH UGH When you're ready to go dress shopping let me know so I can make sure you DONT go there.

Is that only for your designer? I think you got your dress at Paradise (but maybe not) like I did. My dress is supposed to arrive in April for my June wedding. It's so weird they are holding yours longer??

Was it Lilettes??? I am ordering my dress from there and they told me not matter when I order it (assuming I give them enough time) it will not arrive until 6 weeks before the wedding. It makes no sense to me but that is what they told me. I didnt order it yet but I do plan on telling them I need it at least one week earlier then i actually do just to be safe

Yea I actually heard that some places wait to order the dress so that it comes in a few weeks before the wedding...but what if the dress goes discontued?? Don't know if that;s true or not.

Call and tell them you've moved up your date.

I ordered from the same place at you too and its realllllly bothering me that its going to come in so late!!

Also are you doing your alterations there?

Yeah, my wedding is in August and my dress will be in May. That seems like its cutting pretty close.

Paradise told me I would get mine in march and it has already come in, I think they ordered it early so that they could make my cap sleeves.

Let us know how east wind is!! Do you know what room? They just repainted the estate and I'm dying to go check it out!
