Hey All... It's about a month before my wedding, and my photo/videographer, WGO, still hasn't returned my calls! I've called and left multiple messages with their rep that we originally booked the sale with, (Cindy). When I did get a hold of her, she'd said they need the checklist returned to them first. I asked 'What check list?' They said, 'Oh, we will email it to you.' So obviously the ball can't get rolling until we get this checklist! I just wanted to find out if a photog and/or the videographer have been assigned yet. I have 'tried' not to be a B-zilla so far, but this is down to the wire, and I need to be sure everything's in order. It's a month away! Is that too much to ask??
Any1 who's had experience with them let me know how they are (pros/cons)? I booked them originally b/c of all the great things I read about them on not only this board and other forums as well. I know every company has their good and bad, but any honest opinions would be appreciated!
I have never heard of them. But why don't you just go down there and pick up the form? This way if you can fill it out there and hand it back in then you know that your part was done and now they have to do thiers.

I spoke to the owner, who said that the checklist should have been sent to me a while ago and apologized. Maybe I should clarify.....The assignment of the photog & videographer was not dependent on the said form to be completed. It's simply a confirmation form. Whats upsetting is that the salesgirl, who sounded distracted when I spoke to her, said that she needed the form back... then proceeded to tell me she would email me the form...then proceeded to NOT email me the form, forcing me call back 2 weeks later. I finally got the form from the owner. I hope the customer service isn't like this during and after the wedding ;_;

I had heard rave reviews about them also. I saw a friends friends wedding pictures and they were amazing. But the lack of comunication stopped me from persuing them further. Just keep on them after you complete the checklist!!!! Goos luck!

I've dealt with them in the past. If you already spoke to the owner than I would say continue contacting her ONLY. When I had a couple of communication issues with the staff, I called her and she was very helpful. They do take great wedding photos but unfortunately their staff is a bit 'ditzy' at times (don't know why).

They photographed my friend's wedding, pictures during her preganancy and are now shooting pictures throughout her son's first year. The photos are always beautiful!! I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just stay on top of them and continue contacting the owner.

I am using them as well and I agree, while Cindy is very nice, it is ridiculous how hard it is to get in touch with someone. since i booked them in February, they have NOT once contacted me or returned my calls. ALL communications have been by ME.
We are taking our engagement photos with them tomorrow and I pray there are no hiccups.
We actually wouldn't book until they were sure the photographer we wanted was available. A few of my friends have used WGO and say Sung is the best.
Cindy told me to email her but she never responds to emails either.
Once you do speak with someone they are SUPER nice but they really need to work on keeping in contact with their clients.

i have heard some negative things about wedding one, if you do a search, it will probably come up. yes, they do great work, but if customer service is lacking and you're not confident in them, i would look elsewhere...

I'm booked with Wedding group one -the soho location.
So far so good -but will keep you posted when I sit with photog to discuss our timeline
