Wedding Guest Attire

I am sending out a 'Wedding Weekend' brochure type of thing and wanted to put on there the type of attire required at my wedding:

Bourne Mansion
Saturday, Sept. 1
Ceremony 5:30pm
Reception 6pm

*It is def. NOT black tie or black tie optional...should I put 'formal attire please'??? Not sure what to put....TIA!

Hmm so its not black tie. Well you can put 'foormal wear' and if you ahve a website liek THEKNOT.com, there is a place where ou can write details about your reception and ceremony. On ours i wrote 'Think of how'd you dress for a nice sunday concert or religious services,' because ours is TOTALLy not black tie.
