Well anyway i was talking to my best man for his opinion on my hair for the wedding. I have been keeping it long for a VERY long time (past my shoulders) and its curly and very annoying. I like a nice bob like the early 1900's to 20's because it is easy to maintain and I like it.
Anyway my bestman wanted to kill me for thinking of cutting my hair and i think fh would be mad. So i figured a low bun but still pulled back to make it look like a bob with some nice curls. I have some reference photos and my half a s s approach of attempting to do the look. I realize a pro would do it 100 billion times better.
So what do you girls think? Does it go with my face and dress? I realize i am not a pretty girl so I am really trying to get opinions on people who know a thing or two.

did you really just say you're not a pretty girl?! that's ridiculous, b/c to look good w a bob like that you have to have a pretty face which i was going to tell you that you are LUCKY you have such a pretty face and can pull it off...
not only can you pull it off but in all honesty i think it looks beautiful!!!! i'm impressed you were able to put it up in such a way so that it looks like you cut it!! you are a beautiful girl and you look beautiful like that!!!!!

i think that a hair stylist will definitely be able to pull that off. . . an 07 bride had something similar i wish i could remember who?

i think the short bob definately goes with your face. and looks like it would work with the dress too. i say, go for it if you really want to.

I dunno i still think i am fugly but i wanted to thank you all for your kind remarks.
I am glad you think i can do it because i really want to. I really see it ..i dream that hair. Now i don't think a tiara will work so i may have to do hair pins and clip on the back.
I am so happy you girls think positively of it.. it really means a lot to me.

You are absolutely beautiful! That style looks great on you! And don't cut your hair! Just get trims when you need it. It's so much easier to do stuff with when it's longer.

i almost missed your 'not a pretty girl' comment. nonsense! you have such a gorgeous face! i think in order to pull that cut off you have to have a pretty face and you have definately got the look.

I'm with Tilde...I want to punch you in the face too... ...I'm sooo kidding cause I'm a wimp and then you would just kick my a$$ ...anyway...I think it was Vintagegirl from the 07 board you might have been thinking of with a similiar style (BTW...I think she is getting married this upcoming weekend - I know waaaaay too much about you girls!) LOL...
Anyway....I LOVE your hair pulled back low...the photoshop pic of you was such a GREAT idea...I think I would like a clippy broachy thing (not the one in the pic...but you get the idea) in your hair or a double headband kind of tiara...just a thought...
