Hi Ladies, I am helping my friend find a hall or restaurant for 150 people for about $100 pp including grat and tax..any suggestions? Queens or Brooklyn..I would take a ne thing around those figures TIA!

Douglaston Manor. Everything else that I looked at in Brooklyn/Queens was $150 after tax/gratuity and that was for a Friday night.
Maybe try Elite Palace, too. I've heard mixed reviews but it's a very new hall so it's worth a shot.

In Brooklyn she can try these RH:
Sirico's on 13th Avenue and 82nd Street...been there for years and is still a very pretty place.
The Rex Manor on 11th Avenue around 65th Street another neighborhood icon and is owned by Maria Bartoroma's (spell) grandfather and family.
Gennaro's Catering Hall 6602 13th Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11219 I just went on Gennaro's website and they have excellent prices and a package deal too starting from $9,495. and up. I did attend a baby shower there and it was very good.

In Brooklyn you can check out Buckley's, its been there forever and the food is fantastic. Their pricing for weddings I believe start at $70 pp, after tax and gratuity that is still under $100 pp.

Maybe you could try Vetro by Russo's on the Bay or Buckleys in Brooklyn
Buckleys is nice but the atmosphere isn't that great...they are good for engagement parties, christenings, showers, etc. Sorry, but just my opinion. As you can see from the link above Buckleys does say Tavern outside.
