Hello…I am having a hard time deciding between Chateau La Mer and Venetian yacht club? I have never been to a wedding at either place and I love both places. Any input or suggestions? Thanks in advance girls!

I have been to a wedding at Venitian and it was good because there was no other wedding going on at the same time. I would find out if there is another one booked, that would be a big deciding factor for me.

Both venues book other weddings during your wedding. It will be rare to only have 1 party going on, especially if your wedding is on a weekend.
I am booked with VYC and am very excited to have our wedding there. It's gorgeous, well kept, the food was amazing, and our BM has been very helpful thus far.
I have heard mostly good things about CLM and the boat ride for the newly married couple is definitely a unique wedding bonus IMO.
Maybe you should search out the Reviews and read a bit more about both places.

I loved chateau la mer! Beautiful ! And great food and service! It was one of our top choices

I have been in weddings at both. Both a beautiful, but I like Venetian better. The CH room at CLM is awkward when all the guests are there. Whatever you decide it will be gorgeous!

Have you done a tasting at either?? I told the RH's I wouldn't make a decision until they let me do that... that helped us make the decision!

we are booked at VYC and they have been amazing thus far i agree DEF have a tasting (we requested one, as well) before booking somewhere it can rly make/break a place! good luck!

FH and I are getting married at CLM.
Our criteria in choosing a venue was: Price Food Ambiance
We met Nick at a Bridal showcase back in September. We did 2 tastings with them and were able to bring all of the leftovers home (added bonus!) Along with the pastries from Campbells Bakery in Brentwood.
We booked the room downstairs for a couple of reasons... a. We have some family members that have problems walking and they don't have an elevator to bring you upstairs b. The room is spacious and I love those big windows!
I'm also excited about coming in on the yacht during the cocktail hour because it ties in with us getting engaged on a boat :)

I looked at both as well. I have not one compliant about vyc. My only compliant about clm was in my opinion the hallway is old looking and run down with the carpet. I have pricing for both if you are interested fm me. Vyc gave us a food tasting before booking and we loved it!
