don't know who remembers but the other day i posted that fh was making me go to a wedding for a girl who i REALLY cannot stand. just a completely self-centered biotch.
anyway, some of you girls cheered me up about it, and told me to just go and have a good time. well i did have a good time...but not because it was a good wedding, for exactly the opposite reason. it was soooooo bad...and it just made me realize how GREAT my wedding will be!!
i know that sounds obnoxious but it's true. she skimmed so much on everything, just so she could spend $10,000 on her dress. don't get me wrong, if you have the money and you want a dress that expensive, go for it...but the rest of her wedding was just not great and it was obvious that she just didn't care to spend the money or the time on things that would make it nice for her guests. at least give some sort of a favor...even a piece of paper at the table that says thanks for coming...or a donation in leu of a favor...she did nothing!! i just think that's bad.
i just feel that so many of us are spending so much thought/effort/money on things to make our wedding nice not only for us but for the people who we are sharing our day with too...and i am just so excited about our wedding b/c i know it's going to be awesome!
