Ok, so if you all remember, my bridal shop ordered me a size 16 dress but I lost all the baby weight (all 40 pounds of it ) and now I hate the dress. SO... I went to Vows Bridal Outlet up here in Massachusetts (a.k.a. Bridepower.com) and found a Melissa Sweet gown that FIT and was gorgeous! Originally $3400, they were selling it for $1500!!! so much more flattering on me. I have it on hold right now. The seamstress says I don't even need a hem, just a bustle.
What do you think? Should I buy it? I had a poll but it disappeared???/

It's gorgeous - but I like your first dress too. You're sure they original dress shop can't do anything with the first dress?

I have another fitting monday for the original dress. I'll see what they were able to do. Vows is holding this dress for me until Tuesday so I can decide.

wow you look amazing. I'd wait until you see the next fitting before shelling out the cash. Then go with what you feel yourself walking down the aisle in.
When I bought my dress the saleswoman took me to a room with a mirror and left me alone for five minutes. I got all emotional staring at myself and that's how I knew. You should look for that same feeling.

Thats up to you, you look beautiful in your new dress and I really like your old dress too. Depends on what your heart is telling you. If you would lose all that money from the first dress, then it may be smart to keep that one, or maybe they can give you your money back, then I would go with the new one since you love it so much. But only you can make the decision, I say go with what you really love.....

OMG I'm in the same situation. I had my son in September and i bought my dress in November, since then I've losst 20 and i wanna lose 20 more. I don't know what to do because I'm seeing so many more dressed too!!

OMG! I went to vows, too! SO funny.... To answer your question.....YES I think you should go for it. You appear to really love this dress, and it looks FABULOUS on you! You only do this once.....just go for it
