Wedding in St. Thomas this weekend...what should I wear??
DH and I are going to a wedding in St. THomas this weekend....DH is in the wedding party so he is all set...but I don't know what to wear.
The invite says casual...does that mean dress or skirt? I would prefer to wear a skirt since I have an extensive skirt collection...but want to dress appropriately too.

i would say a flowy dress...not white...and some sandals.

how awsome!!!! my fbil just left for st. Thomas yesterday!! and im jealous as heck!
I would bring both and then try to find out what the other guests are wearing. I think a dress would be nice but im sure you wont look out of place in a nice skirt. If you are more comfortable in a skirt I would say go with your gut
eta - I think if my fh were in the BP I would wear a dress just so that we are dressed up together

DH is wearing kaki pants a white shirt and a tie they got him.

I agree, I should probably just wear a dress...I just don't want to buy something new...so I think I will just deal with what I have.

Hey, I'm going to a wedding this weekend (Saturday evening) in St. Thomas. We'll be at the Grand Beach Palace on the East End. Where's your wedding?

Our friends got married in Jamaica last September and there were people in dresses and skirts. Wear whatever you're comfortable with. You're already paying for the trip, I definitely wouldn't spend money on something new.

Definitely a dress with sandals. If you don't already have something,check out the Ann Taylor and Loft websites (they have some really cute strapless dresses) as well as JCrew. Have fun!!!

The couple is getting married at a temple on the island and we are all staying at the Marriot Grand Reef (something like that). The wedding is Sunday afternoon. We are going from Saturday until Tuesday. We would have made it a longer vacation but we just got back from our HM.
When are you leaving and for how long?

We're going on Friday AM and leaving Wednesday PM (5 nights). It would have been funny if we were both going to the same wedding.
