Anyone heard of this or purchase their own policy? I havent heard of it , but someone mentioned it to me and I was just wondering if anyone knows about it/recommends it or thinks its a waste. TIA

i will be buying it shortly through my car / homeowners insurance probably. I have no idea how much it costs there but there's a wedding-specific insurance site (wedsafe.com) which gives quotes right on their site and it's not really very much.
it's worth it ... just in case something unforseeable happens.

We were thinking of getting it. You hear horror stories all the time about vendors going out of business etc. If anyone finds a company let me know. I know Travlers sells it but since I am currently suing them, I did not buy it from them!

I was considering this as well. You never know what could happen. I don't think it's more than $1k so it may be worth it.
