Re: Wedding Invitations
It depends how fancy you want to get. Our invitations are from exclusively weddings and we spent 450 . You can do DIY , 123print or Vista Print for less expensive invitations, or go crazy and spend a few thousand. IMO I wanted something nice but didn't care too much since in the end they just go in the garbage.

Re: Wedding Invitations
We got our invitations from the same place we got our favors, & tuxes, so we recv'd a small discount. We spent $300 for 150 invitations, with pale pink lined envelopes, and quick seal, & response sets.
I'm sure it'll cost us more than that for postage.

Re: Wedding Invitations
We're looking at $1300 for 225 which includes all the printing and addressing, and our invites have brooches and ribbon. It's more than I initially wanted to spend but I'm in love with them!

Re: Wedding Invitations
invitations is one of the things that I was not going to spend a lot on. I couldn't bring myself to spend more because it ultimately ends up in the garbage
I got 125 of each:
Invitations (with inner and outside envelopes) Response sets (with pre printed return address) Reception cards Thank you cards (with envelopes) Tissue
Spent $295 with tax and shipping

Re: Wedding Invitations
Addressing the envelopes can also add up quickly, so make sure you look into having them printed

Re: Wedding Invitations
Way too much, honestly. I didn't want to spend a lot on invites, but my parents wanted them to be amazing - quality of invite was very important to my parents. . With that said, I'm in love with my invitations.

Re: Wedding Invitations
They don't do caligrophy but I bought a kit from Michaels for 10$ and I'll be doing it myself. I've seen price quotes of 2-3 $ per envelope which is crazy to me!

Re: Wedding Invitations
I got 100 invitations with two paper layers with thermography. 100 outer envelopes with lining (& calligraphy) 100 Response cards. 100 Return Envelopes for just under $1000
It really depends on the details you are looking for (two color fonts, paper layers, thermography or letter press or engraved, ribbons, pockets) It can get crazy. Go in prepared with a budget. When I first went in I had no idea how much invitations could cost and I fell in love with one which turned out to cost $1700 for 100. It wasn't even that over the top.

I'm spending around 450 for 75 custom invites which includes all addressing. All I gotta do is ship 'em out when I get them
