How early should you send out the wedding invitations? We have guests coming from out of state so wondering what time frame is appropriate to send out the invites.

I sent mine out Jan 4 for a Feb 10 rsvp for a March 16 wedding. We had many oot'ers also.

About half our guest list was out of town. Several were out of country. We sent them out 3 months. RSVP date was 6 weeks before the date of the wedding. Did you send out a save the date? I feel like if you did, you have more flexibility as to when you can send your invitations.

We did not send out the save the dates. We just booked our venue a week ago. Wedding is this August. A lot of our family that's out of state already knows the date and are already making arrangements to come so I'm hoping we are good with that. But for others we just want an idea when to send them out to be appropriate. I guess we should ptobably send them out th beginning of Jun with a end of July RSVP since th wedding is August 31. WhY do you think?

We are sending our invitations out at the end of this month with an A list RSVP date of April 20th and if we need to send out B list invites, the RSVP date is May 15th.
