Crashing...

I'd like to recommend Sweet Stuff Designs. I had a budget and Diana exceeded my expectations. I referred about 4 brides who love her work as well.

I ended up doing a two layered invitation with a bow to hold it together. She addressed both guests names and our names on the envelopes. She made our table numbers, church programs, seating chart and a gift I did for my DH.

I was SO impressed by her work, and how creative she was. EVERYTHING was SO beautiful!!!

She came in under $500 for all of that. Her work was beautiful and she really nailed the vision I had.

I went to a few popular invitation places, and they seemed to be all low paper quality.

Give her a shot, you won't be disappointed. Tell her Noelle sent you =)

Wedding Invitations

We're getting our invitations from Whimsy B in Huntington- www.whimsyb.com ....FH and I met with them and they were really helpful with all the choices. They can create any design you want. The samples they showed us were so pretty- recommend contacting them!

Have you ladies starting looking at invitations yet or have you picked what you like?

FH and I went to Fairy Tale Affairs in Massapequa and picked one we liked and wrote down all the information for when we wanted to order but then we came across a different one that we like the style of it better but I am just not sure. I feel like we didn't explore enough options. I now live in Selden and am trying to find invitation places, know of any?! Let me know! TIA

How is Fairy Tale Affairs? she was on the top of my list to use...havent really looked into invitations yet

They had a LARGE selection. FH & I browsed some books and fell in love with one so we got all the information and priced it but definitely want to go back and dedicate some more time to looking just to be sure. I thought reasonably priced too!

What is a 'typical' invitation budget? This is our next endeavor and I don't even know what I should be expecting.

We are budgeting about $1000.

Wedding Invitations

How soon should I start looking if my wedding is in June 2014? I feel like I've been slacking on the wedding planning after seeing what all of you ladies are doing!

I'm diying my invitations and I know exactly what I want them to look like. I'm planning on starting to work on them as soon as I book a place because I'm a procrastinator so I'll have plenty of time to do a few here and a few there.

I'm also DIY w my invites but I'm nervous if they sit around too long that they will get stale and weird. are you just preparing or going to store them? I have no idea what I want them like! are you buying a kit or completely DIY?

It might sound weird but the Party City in Centereach has an 'invitation' station and they actually have really great options. We found some pocketfolds that we loved and they were reasonable.

My FH and I have been looking into this option. But still trying to decide.

2013 crashing... I looked for months. Just ordered last week from the wedding center in Commack. Amy is absolutely wonderful. She knows her products and just how to word things!! They should be here in 2-3 weeks, I'll post pics when I get them. As far as budget, depends on how many and what exactly you're looking for. I found prices from $2- $10 per invite. Mine were just over $8 each with tax. HTH!

Wedding Invitations

I've only looked online so far. I just got a bunch of sample invitations this weekend from Wedding Paper Divas, Invitations By Dawn, Exclusively Weddings, and David's Bridal. But I didn't really love any of them. So, I'm going to do some research and make appointments. I don't want to spend a ton on invitations, but I don't want them to look cheap either.
