Wedding Invitations

Wedding Invitations

Have you ladies starting looking at invitations yet or have you picked what you like?

FH and I went to Fairy Tale Affairs in Massapequa and picked one we liked and wrote down all the information for when we wanted to order but then we came across a different one that we like the style of it better but I am just not sure. I feel like we didn't explore enough options. I now live in Selden and am trying to find invitation places, know of any?! Let me know! TIA

Wedding Invitations

I'm diying my invitations and I know exactly what I want them to look like. I'm planning on starting to work on them as soon as I book a place because I'm a procrastinator so I'll have plenty of time to do a few here and a few there.

It might sound weird but the Party City in Centereach has an 'invitation' station and they actually have really great options. We found some pocketfolds that we loved and they were reasonable.

I met with Jessica Leigh, she was really nice and can do anything you want. I also love etsy vendors

Question? How much are you all budgeting for invites?

I'm on evenstars production list! I know the process with her takes a but longer bc she mails you everything but she's super nice and the earlier you get on the list the more chances you have of winNing stuff! She does contests all the time!

I'm a graphic designer so I'm making my own. There's this store in the city calledPaper Presentation that sells anything and everything you need to make professional looking invites. I plan on saving a Lot of many this way

What is a 'typical' invitation budget? This is our next endeavor and I don't even know what I should be expecting.

Definitely using Etsy... Found a seller who does the pocket-fold invites for like $2 each, including the RSVP postcard, invite, and extra info card... She also prints your return address on the RSVPs at no extra charge. She just doesn't include envelopes because her invites fit standard 5x7 envelopes and she said this way you can buy whichever kind you want, whether you want regular ones, lined envelopes, etc. So I will probably buy those and then buy my own envelopes. Still debating between a calligrapher or just printing the addresses on the envelopes from home

We probably plan on doing invitations ourselves to save money..My FH is very good at drawing at art, so I think it will be good.

I have a gift certificate from Dazzling Affairs that another bride won and couldn't use, so she gave it to me. So I'll probably check them out first. But I'm also interested to know how much I should budget for invitations? I don't want them to look 'cheap,' but I also know they're going to end up in the garbage so I don't want to go high-end either.
