wedding invitations- seal n send
How much is to much for wedding invitations?Roughly about 220 people are invited. So, we are estimating 185 show up.
I really like the seal-n-send invitations as well as having them be plant based. BUT the price is crazy! A little over $5.00 per invite!
Is that normal? Am I just in sticker shock?
Help!?!

I'm assuming that the plant based it what is driving the price up because otherwise that seems high for send and seal

Check out other companies. I got some samples for send & seal from wedding paper divas, as well as invitations by Dawn, all under $2.50

I had originally purchased seal and sends, then I realized I had 2 problems. 1. if you are providing directional maps for your guests I guess you will need to purchase extra seals to close up the sides so that they do not slip out. 2. if you want to add extra lines of text not provided in the template, the text gets really tiny and hard to read even thought it looked fine on the computer preview. So we ended up buying new ones using a pocket style instead.

I have heard that before. We are going to seal them with a wax seal so they don't budge! Thanks for the thought!

This is a big thing. If you have any inserts at all, they will fall out the sides unless you seal it on three sides.. which is a little silly for guests to have to open. Also, since they're folded in two, the two ends can separate in sorting machines causing them to rip. Envelopes are definitely the better route and you can definitely find plant based options out there.

I had friends who used the seal and sends and they had a lot of problems with them getting damaged coming through the mail. Even though they sealed the sides, with the damage from the postal machines they still managed to lose half the inserts. I'm avoiding it and going with pocket envelopes instead, personally.Welcome New Vendors
