Wedding Invitations with Poll- RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!

OK!!!!!!!!!!!!! You ladies have spoken and the poll is now closed. We will be going with the white/ecru invitation with silver foil script. Thank you everyone for your opinions and comments. Mom is very happy because she won! She liked the traditional nature of the white one and the simplicity. While I liked the purple one BECAUSE it was not those things. I thought it was different and not common (all the invitation books look the same after a while), went with my lavender color scheme and for an August wedding it was more summery in look. On the other hand I don't hate the white invitation and that made it that much easier to compromise. I knew I would be happy with either one. Thank you very much everyone for your opinions!!!!

did you reverse the poll? I meant to vote for the white one, but I accidentally voted for the purple.

I prefer the white because I don't like the way the words go from right to left on the purple invite. It's too distracting adn takes away from the beauty of the invitation.

And, white invites make me think 'wedding'

I think the purple invite is beautiful, but would change the way the words are printed.

PURPLE ONE! It made me go 'WOW' when I saw it. The other one I was like 'Ah' . JMO of course!!

I like the lilac one, but only if that's your color. I'm afraid the silver one may be hard to read against a white background esp for your older guests who have poor eyesight. Lilac is my color, so I'm partial to it!
