OK!!!!!!!!!!!!! You ladies have spoken and the poll is now closed. We will be going with the white/ecru invitation with silver foil script. Thank you everyone for your opinions and comments. Mom is very happy because she won! She liked the traditional nature of the white one and the simplicity. While I liked the purple one BECAUSE it was not those things. I thought it was different and not common (all the invitation books look the same after a while), went with my lavender color scheme and for an August wedding it was more summery in look. On the other hand I don't hate the white invitation and that made it that much easier to compromise. I knew I would be happy with either one. Thank you very much everyone for your opinions!!!!
Bump....thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and respond to the poll. At this point unless the pretty purple invite gets a zillion votes in twenty minutes we are going with the white/ecru with silver!
