Wedding Invite wording.

Wedding Invite wording.

I messed up and I feel horrible. We got our proof of our invites and I ended up leaving out my fiances step mom... Couple of reasons I feel awful are she is the only mom figure I have ever know for him, as well as she is probably one of 5 people that actually give a crap about this wedding and is excited! (not the marriage everyone is for that, the actual wedding) I genuinely didn't think that if one parent was deceased you put both the deceased and the step parent. To me it looked like both were deceased... I feel like dog poo. I would like to change the wording on my invite to include her. Does anyone know how you can write it?

so the invites say...
Blah blah blah
Devon Amelia
to
Matthew James son of

His mom passed and his father remarried... how would you word it... I would like to include both his late mom and step mom but every way it just sounds so weird to me. I'm stressing horribly about this. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance.

Son of Mr & Mrs John Marsh & the late Mrs. Joyce Marsh.

-or-

son of Mr John Smith & the late Mrs. Anne Smith if you didnt want to include the step mom and just his parents.
