How soon is everyone going to shop around and order invites?

I was thinking end of September. I want to have them in my house by Christmas or January. This way I can work on them a little at a time.

We already have our picked out, probably ordering at the end of september beginning of oct

We're ordering ours in Feb. - 9 months before the wedding. If I decide to go the DIY route, I will start in Jan.

I want to order them in November and have them by Christmas so I'll have enough time to find a calligrapher and get the envelopes done.

already picked mine out, but wont order them until sometime next year.. maybe february?

I was going to buy mine ASAP since I already know the date and location, but we might be moving by the end of the year, so we're going to hold off because the address on the envelopes may change.

i already know what invite i want its just a matter of ordering them now...we'll probably order them in feb...get them around mid-march and start sending them out mid to late-April...only because we have OOT guests and we want them to have enough time to make reservations either at the hotel we blocked rooms at or make arrangements to stay with family

funny you mention that- im actually going to order them today or tommorow. Notfromabox.com is having 10% sale so I might as well order them now and save some cash!

ok, i'm glad I am not crazy, I told my friend (who is also getting married) that I was going to start looking, and she told me I was too early to be looking for invitations.

I kinda told her her mind her own bee's wax. Now that I see other girls that are getting married after me are already looking, I don't feel so bad. Thanks ladies!
