Anyone know where a town hall in Queens is to get your license? Do you recommend going to LI instead? We will be living in Queens when we need to get it. Anyone have a website where i can research this stuff? Thanks!!

There is one on Queens Blvd (Kew Grdens), I will look up the site. It where I am getting mine.

yes - in queens you could go on qns. blvd - near the court houses - but DO NOT GO THERE.
li is much quicker, convenient, and pleasureable. i have not spoken to one person who has gone to get theirs in queens say it was 'a great experience' - my priest even recomended we go anywhere but queens co.

I aggree! If you are going to go, please get there EARLY to be the 1st on line. We waitied for hours. Waste of time.

I guess I will go when they open.. It so much closer to my house than LI. Just one exit off the GCP.

lol don't go to Queens! That's all I was told and everyone waits hours. Also to be the first one online you have to get their so much earlier too!
We opted for Manhasset and there was no one else there in the middle of the day too!!!

Ok, but here is my other dilemma... I dont have a birth certificate. Will manhasset give me one w/ a license, passport and baptismal certificate?

I went to the one in Queens. We got there before it opened, and there was a very short line. The line did get very long very quickly. Make sure you have your money order ready when you get there. Once we were inside it was pretty painless; they only let a few in at a time. I am pretty sure we were in and out by 9:15am.
