Do you get your wedding license the same day you apply or do it take a few weeks to come

You get the license that day which you give to whoever is marrying you and they will send it in; then you get a marriage certificate in the mail in about two weeks.

You get the license from the Town the day that you apply. The officiant, your witnesses (MOH & BM), and the bride and groom have to sign the document (usually done at the rehearsal). You mail the signed document to the Town. In a few weeks, you get the marriage certificate with a gold seal in the mail.

YOu go to the town and get your marriage license (within the 60 period) this is what you give to the preist or whoever is over seeing your ceremony, you and FH sign it, your witnesses sign it and htey mail it into town hall and in a few weeks you get your marriage certificate. The license just gives you the right to get married in the state, say where, when you are getting married
