Obviously, I'm full of questions today! My mother has sensitive skin and has had 'contact dermatitis' before from using someone else's makeup. It was so bad one time that she spent a week in the hospital. Here's a description of this condition from a website: 'Fluid-filled bumps or blisters, tenderness and redness of the skin often occur with contact dermatitis. You may also notice oozing cracks or fissures in the reddened, irritated skin areas. Usually, these symptoms will occur only in the areas that actually came into contact with the irritant or allergen.' Kind of gross, right?
Well, my question is what I should do about wedding-day makeup? I'm guessing that most artists use the same makeup/brushes on everyone, right? I was hoping I could get advice from some of you girls who might also have sensitive skin issues and what you did.
Thanks!

Re: Wedding Makeup and Sensitive Skin?
During the trial I explained to my make-up girl that I have very sensitive skin, so we used all disposable brushes & applicators for that day. I still had some break-outs and redness because the products were shared.
So I found out what brands of make-up she used and bought them in the smallest possible sizes to use on the day of and tested them on my own to make sure they didn't damage my skin on their own and I was fine. For the things that were too expensive, I went to my trusted brand (Clinique) and bought the most similar colors I could find.
I also brought my own brushes, etc. I just worked with her to get the right things. A little more expensive, but worth not having a peeling face on my HM!!
