This might be personal. But I'm trying to figure out what is the best investment or the best way to handle our wedding money. If you can suggest a financial planner that would help too? Thanks.

We put ours in a money market account at Bethpage federal credit union. We would like to save for a house, but need a lot more than we got.

This. We added ours to our existing Bethpage money market account and plan to start house hunting in the spring. We looked into CDs but didn't want to tie our money up for too long, my parents basement seems like it keeps getting smaller. Lol.

I belong to BFCU too. I'll talk to them. We have a condo. Not looking to buy a house in the near future. The saving account is not 'Secure' but is giving a higher interest rate than a cd or money market account. Thanks.

Its a sign of the times the interest rate is low... great time to buy a house or car but to save

We found our money market had a higher interest rate than our regular savings or a shorter term CD.
