I just booked the room for our wedding night in NY. The hotel doesn't offer anything extra for the wedding night in the price but it is where we stayed the night we got engaged so it has special meaning! Should I arrange to have flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, or alcohol in the room? Or will we be so tired we won't even care and just want to sleep?

trust me you will be so tired you wouldn't care. I had champagne and chocolates. Took the chocolates the next day.
All you want to do is tear off your clothes get busy and just go to sleep.

Re: wedding night
Perhaps make arrangements for breakfast to be sent to you in the morning? You're going to be tired and champagne is going to be the furtherest thing from your mind.

Re: wedding night
i agree that youre going to be too tired to care.
I booked our hotel room for the wedding night and they asked us if we wanted to pay extra for the wedding night special of champagne and strawberries and i was like NO! I'll be too busy to eat strawberries.
hmmm but maybe arranging for coffee or tea to be brought to your room the next morning is a good idea.
if youre looking for the room to be decorated you can always ask a BP member or your mom to check in for you and decorate the place before you get there..rose petals on the bed etc..that might be fun

Re: wedding night
I had gotten as advice from my married friends that they were all just too tired to do the whole strawberries and champagne at the end of the night. They just got down to business and then went to sleep. However, they did however order room service the next morning for breakfast in bed. I guess save the champagne and strawberries for the honeymoon.
