We are. We bought a house in June and we are going through the heavy duty construction phase right now. Our wedding night will be our first night in our new home!

Re: Wedding night
Originally I wanted to stay at a nice hotel and wanted to go back to the same hotel for our first anniversary. (sorry I am a dork!)
But we just bought a house and it just doesn't pay to spend more money.

Is anyone staying at home?
Helllllllll No!!! I told FH, I'm not staying at home on our wedding night!!!! We'll most likely be staying at the honeymoon suite at the hotel where our OOT guests are staying. Sorry, but on our wedding night, I want a gorgeous big bed and room! (wink wink about the big bed ;)
ETA: Not that there's anything wrong with staying home ladies!!!! Please don't get me wrong!!

We'll be going back to our house. It's only for 2 nights before we go on our honeymoon. Figure we'll get some nice sheets and do take out so it feels like a hotel but without the expense

Re: Wedding night
FH wanted to stay at the Garden City Hotel and originally I was all in as it has a great rep for its restaurants etc. Then I checked it out on Trip Advisor and it has pretty bad reviews for not being updated in a really long time, they won't budge on late checkout even for newlyweds, etc. Read them for yourself. I was very surprised to hear this but anyway... due to the bad reviews we will be staying at Oheka Castle, which I am completely psyched about!

Re: Wedding night
We are staying in a really romantic B&B close to the vineyard and staing a few extra days for a mini moon...
I actually booked the room a couple of days for before the wedding so I can go there and relax alone befoer the big day.
I can't wait!

We're staying at the Fox Hollow Inn. My OOT guests will have the option of booking there or The Executive Inn. I want to do a day after brunch so we'll have to coordinate that.
Same plan here

Re: Wedding night
We are also staying at the same hotel as our OOT guests. They are flying in from all over so I only think it polite that we show our faces the next morning!
