I have to make reservations for our wedding night but I don't know anything about Hotels in LI.
I am considering the ones in my poll.
Can anyone give me estimated prices that you are paying per night (please feel free to FM me if you don't want to post) & please let me know what room type it is?

As of right now, I'm booked at the Inn @ Fox Hollow - for a bridal suite, its $250/night, includes champagne, roses, chocolate, etc.
You get a 10% discount if you're a Scotto Brothers bride.
I'm almost 100% positive that I am going to cancel the reservation and make our wedding night our first night in our new apartment together. I just can't justify that money - I'd rather spend the $250 on something on my HM.

I would love to spend the first night in our apt but it looks like we will not have an apt until after the honeymoon.

We stayed at the Wingate on Stewart Avenue. it was a really nice big room. my BIL stayed at the GCH and my DH and I paid for their wedding night and honestly, the B&G thought it was overrated as did I. We (the BP) got ready there and for what we paid ($458) it was pretty much a regular room. After seeing the room, they were going to return the favor but we preferred the wingate. Check it out. The price was nearly a little more than half the price of the GCH and the room was bigger and we really enjoyed it. Good luck.

hands down- GCH
we stayed at the fox hollow because its very close to our RH and we only were spending 4 hours in there before we had to leave to catch our flight! it was very nice, but doesnt compare to the GCH!
GCM- i wanted to get married there! LOVE IT! but was disappointed by their suites..
RCH- never been there but heard nice reviews of it

We've been undecided also, but actually made a decision this morning to book the Fox Hollow Inn. We would have liked to stay in our new place our first night but we are moving to Jersey and need to be at JFK the next afternoon to leave for our honeymoon so it doesn't make sense to go all the way back to Jersey. I'm sure any of these places will be great, but I voted for Fox Hollow Inn.

My room block is at the Roslyn Claremont Hotel, but FH and I will be staying at the Garden City Hotel on our wedding night. I have stayed there once and it is really a lovely hotel. The RCH is beautiful too, very charming, but I just wanted a little more elegance on our wedding night! My price for the GCH is double what my room block costs though!! I feel it's worth it though! HTH!
